Studying abroad in Florence, Italy, Lo Roderigues had the unique academic and professional learning opportunity in the Marketing and Communication Office at the Florence University of the Arts. As an intern, she independently completed over 150 hours worth of tasks and projects throughout the semester. Her most comprehensive project was the creation of an 80-page cookbook about Florence Food and Culture. Not only did this experience enhance her skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, but through observing a cooking class and working one-on-one with a publication student, she pushed myself to collaborate with several different copy editors and professors of various departments to ensure successful delivery of the final printed product.
